The East Portland representative will replace a departing Advisory Group member. Please share with anyone who may be interested. Working within the framework established in the 2004 Off-Leash Program Evaluation & Recommendations, the group:

  • Works with Portland Parks & Recreation staff to create a prioritized plan to address off-leash program problems and solutions
  • Guides Portland Parks & Recreation in executing the plan
  • Advises Portland Parks & Recreation in development of off-leash program strategies and initiatives
  • Acts as an ongoing forum for off-leash program partnerships

Because the off-leash system spans the city, and because a wide range of stakeholders have interest in dog off-leash areas in Portland parks, the advisory group has a broad representation of stakeholders from different communities and with different perspectives and backgrounds. Please contact Ali Ryan at 503-823-2967 or ali [dot] ryan [at] portlandoregon [dot] gov with questions.
